A Legacy of Craftsmanship: The Journey of Two Brother in Jewelry Making
Our journey began in the early 1970s in Beirut, Lebanon, where a young Sarkis, just 13 years old, discovered his passion for the jewelry trade. What started as a craft quickly became a family tradition, as he passed down his skills and knowledge to his brothers and sisters. In the mid-70s, seeking new opportunities, the family immigrated to America. By 1981, brothers Sarkis and Gary had established their own jewelry business in the Advance Building in Southfield, Michigan. With a relentless dedication to their craft, they quickly gained a reputation for their artistry and innovation. Pioneers in the field, Sarkis and Gary introduced groundbreaking stone-setting techniques that had never been done before. They didn’t just create jewelry—they revolutionized the way it was made, designing and developing specialized tools to enhance the jewelry manufacturing process. Their expertise and ingenuity made them not just skilled designers, but visionary craftsmen and successful business owners. After years of working side by side and building a thriving business, the brothers decided to branch out, each opening their own store. This allowed each family to continue the legacy in their own way, carrying forward the tradition of excellence and craftsmanship that had defined their journey from the very beginning.
